About

Zach is a Muslim, Muti-Hyphenate theatre artist living in the Hudson Valley. He is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz’s theatre department where he studied acting and directing. He is also a recent alumni of Shakespeare & Company’s renowned month long acting intensive that re-inspired his love for Shakespeare. He has worked locally at theaters including Shadowland Stages, Ellenville Central School District, Denizen Theatre & Performing Arts of Woodstock.

He is a part of the inaugural acting company of Columbia County Players in Hudson New York. He is looking to grow with the company and bring in a diverse level of professional and new creative artists to create a company based on the idea that all are welcome to act and explore the works of Shakespeare.

In his spare time he enjoying seeing local theatre, gravel biking, enjoying the pristine Hudson Valley Scenery and playing Magic The Gathering with friends.

Upcoming Projects

Zach just finished a phenomenal run of Shrek The Musical at SUNY New Paltz.

This July, Zach will be playing Paris in Catskill Mountain Shakespeare’s Production of Romeo and Juliet directed by Rebecca Wahls.

In November, Zach will be heading up to Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill to play Bill Ray in their production of On Golden Pond directed by John Sowle
